Project Coach and Youth Development

Teens coaching youth to play, to learn, and to be healthy

Project Coach has been featured in both news articles and video segments.

While working with children, adolescents are also teaching themselves. Skills they gain transfer to other contexts, which will lead to a greater array of future options.

"[Project Coach] taught me that it's not the numbers on the scoreboard at the end of the game that designate who won, rather, if you played hard and had fun. It's not about winning or losing but playing as a unit, a core group with an unbreakable bond, it's about.... a team. "

Teen coaches run leagues for elementary-aged players. They must organize, inspire, resolve conflict, teach, and create environments where children learn about sports, health, and being on a team.
